Solid perfume is a wax-based fragrance product that comes in a solid form, usually in a compact container. It's a convenient and travel-friendly alternative to traditional liquid perfumes. 

Solid perfume is subtle to apply, mess free and highly portable. Those with allergies can find a balm less irritating to the nose than a liquid perfume. Solid perfume is also moisturizing rather than drying to the skin, as it contains no alcohol.

How much do I need to use?

Just one swipe on pulse points is all you need. After it settles, you can apply more if you want a stronger scent. 

How long will solid perfume last on the skin?
Solid perfume is subtle to apply and it won’t overpower those around you, it is thought to be more of a “personal” scent. The longevity of solid perfume varies depending on factors such as the concentration of fragrance oils and individual body chemistry. The scent then slowly reveals itself to you as it warms on the skin. Carry with you to reapply throughout the day as needed.

Hold on to the top of the tube and twist in a clockwise motion to raise the perfume. Make sure you apply the perfume in the following places for maximum impact (smelling the perfume from the top of the stick won't give you an accurate experience– it must be applied to body and allowed to "rest" for a minute or two, just like regular spray perfume). Points of application include: Inside of wrists, pulse points on neck, collar bones, top of forearms and tips of shoulders.

What are “top, heart and base notes”?

Top notes are the first impression scents of a perfume, typically lasting for around 15 minutes to an hour. They often consist of light, fresh, or citrusy notes. 

Heart notes emerge once the top notes evaporate and form the main body of the fragrance. They last longer than top notes, typically for several hours, and add to the overall character of the perfume with floral, fruity, or spicy elements. 

Base notes are the final and longest-lasting scents of the perfume, appearing after the heart notes have disappeared. They provide depth, richness, and longevity to the fragrance with warm, earthy, or woody tones, anchoring the scent and lingering on the skin for several hours or even days.

Are solid perfumes suitable for sensitive skin?

Our solid perfumes and colognes are formulated with natural ingredients and have fewer synthetic chemicals compared to liquid perfumes, making them more suitable for sensitive skin. Its always a good idea to conduct a patch test prior to using to ensure no sensitivity.

Our solid perfume base contains a small amount of beeswax to prevent it melting in summer. 

Does 828 test on animals?

Solid perfumes should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent melting or changes in texture. Keeping the container tightly closed when not in use will help preserve the fragrance.
